Hmm, my cycling attire consists of mostly denim and leather, but I do tend to ride the motor instead of the bicycle.

(I heard that impotency myth years ago, and haven't pedaled since) :)

How much is it shrunk? Like, severely, or just when you put it on, it doesn't fit anymore? If it's the second, it might need to be blocked: re-wet it and pin it out on a large piece of cardboard. As an example, I made this hat for Jake recently, and it barely looked big enough for a newborn, but I checked all the measurements and everything was right. After I blocked it, I could see that it should fit a 12-month-old-and-up pretty easily.

Campmor has some good sales on long underwear right now, although most of it still isn't what I'd call inexpensive. http://www.campmor.com/outdoor/gear/Category___33480104__61414
