Hm, that is interesting -- it was already sort of there if you looked for it, on search.twitter.com -- although you have to do all the refreshing yourself that way. And somepeople use the hashtags, although the hashtags.org website itself doesn't seem to be functioning any more.

@ K:

I am sure you will see this as a banner on Twitter when you wake up but the idea of creating streams is interesting.

It self-refreshes. Quite good.

Good points, Shefaly. I could see closed groups working for many people. Open groups can be done anywhere.

@ K:

These web 2.0 businesses aren't yet making money. They need to be useful to those who will pay to use it. Closed groups on Twitter can aid several possible uses in the enterprise. Open groups are sort of pointless because it duplicates what one can already do with the follower/ following functionality. Besides more 'fun' and less restrictive (I have been texting since 1996 and the 140 character game can get tiring) places for groups exist on Le Web already.

I'm not sure how to Tweet on Twitter, although I belong. I'm also on LinkedIn, and I haven't figured that out either...

's like the place that shall be nameless, Sissy--the more connections you have, the more fun. And K has lots. :)

Strange...your old layout was the same as my current layout. Your current layout is the same as my old layout. Get outta my head!

You seem to be having a lot of fun on Twitter, but I still don't get it.

Nope. I don't Twitter or Tweet. I can't make it work on wordpress.

By the way, did you do something to your page? It doesn't fit on my monitor screen any more. It was fine yesterday but today the left and right are both chopped off! Just on your blog, not anyone else's.
