Bicycle Commuting Mama: Another Bike-Commuting Mama

Oregonian reporter Shelby Wood is also a bike-commuting mother, and today she posted a blog and video about her bike commuting experience.  She actually put a camera on her helmet to record her commute!  The helmet-cam footage is pretty bumpy, but she also had someone else take footage of her commuting.  They even show her picking her daughter up at daycare by bike!  And her bike setup is like mine — basic bike with a child seat on the rear.  Like her, I often have my backpack in the child seat instead of a child. It’s awesome — and it made me feel really good to see another bike-commuting mama in action.
